We are seeking a dynamic, passionate, and dedicated Permanent Associate Attorney to join our prestigious law firm. Our ideal candidate should have a strong background in civil litigation with a proven track record of providing legal advice, negotiating settlements, drafting legal documents, making court appearances, and resolving complex litigation issues. Responsibilities:

As a Permanent Associate Attorney, your primary responsibilities will include:

1. Conducting comprehensive legal research and analysis to support case strategies and to advise clients on potential legal issues.
2. Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a wide range of legal documents, including pleadings, motions, contracts, and settlement agreements.
3. Representing clients in court, presenting evidence to defend clients or argue against the opposition.
4. Negotiating settlements in a timely manner while ensuring the most favorable outcome for our clients.
5. Providing clients with sound legal advice on a broad range of issues, ensuring they understand their rights, obligations, and legal options.
6. Collaborating with the legal team to develop case strategies and prepare for trials.
7. Maintaining an in-depth understanding of state and federal laws, court procedures, and legal precedents relevant to our practice.
8. Exhibiting a high level of attention to detail and accuracy in all work.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate for the Permanent Associate Attorney role should possess the following qualifications:

1. Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school.
2. Admission to the New Jersey and New York State Bars.
3. Minimum of 2 years of experience in civil litigation.
4. Exceptional legal research and writing skills.
5. Proven experience in negotiating settlements and providing legal advice.
6. Advanced communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to represent clients effectively in court and in negotiations.
7. Advanced organizational skills, with the ability to handle multiple cases simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
8. Extreme attention to detail and accuracy, ensuring all legal documents are prepared and reviewed thoroughly.
9. Proven ability to resolve complex litigation issues.
