We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Permanent Associate Attorney to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our legal team, you will handle a diverse caseload involving Civil Litigation, Construction Defect, Employment Law, and Commercial Litigation. This position offers the flexibility of 100% remote work for candidates based in Arizona or Utah. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of legal advice and assistance, depositions, trial experience, and insurance litigation.
Responsibilities:
1. Manage all phases of civil litigation, including construction defect, employment law, and commercial litigation.
2. Provide legal advice and assistance to clients, demonstrating a clear understanding of their needs and objectives.
3. Conduct thorough and detailed depositions, ensuring all relevant information is collected.
4. Prepare, draft, and review legal documents meticulously, ensuring they meet all legal requirements.
5. Represent clients in court, presenting their case convincingly and professionally.
6. Liaise with insurance companies, negotiating and settling claims in the best interest of our clients.
7. Stay updated with the latest legal developments and changes in Arizona and Utah law.
8. Collaborate with other members of the legal team, sharing knowledge and expertise.
Qualifications:
1. Must possess a Juris Doctorate (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
2. Must be a member in good standing of the Arizona or Utah Bar.
3. A minimum of 5 years of experience as an Associate Attorney, specifically with Civil Litigation, Construction Defect, Employment Law, and Commercial Litigation.
4. Proven experience in providing legal advice and assistance.
5. Experience in conducting depositions and trial experience is a plus.
6. Proficiency in drafting and reviewing legal documents.
7. Experience in insurance litigation is highly desirable.
8. Excellent oral and written communication skills.
9. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
10. Ability to work independently and handle multiple cases simultaneously.
11. High level of professionalism and ethical standards.
12. Must be based in Arizona or Utah, with the ability to work remotely 100% of the time.
