We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Associate Attorney to join our team. This is an exceptional opportunity for a talented professional to play a key role in our organization, working on a broad range of complex legal matters. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling a variety of commercial and civil litigation cases, as well as trucking law. This position requires a strong understanding of legal research and writing, and a proven track record in litigation.

Responsibilities

As a Associate Attorney, you will:

1. Represent clients in court or before government agencies, presenting evidence to defend or prosecute in civil litigation cases.
2. Prepare and draft a variety of legal documents on behalf of clients, such as pleadings, briefs, contracts, and agreements.
3. Conduct extensive legal research to support case preparation and strategy development.
4. Advise clients on their legal rights and obligations, helping them navigate complex commercial and civil litigation cases.
5. Negotiate settlements for legal disputes in a manner that best represents the client's interests.
6. Specialize in trucking law, providing expert legal advice and representation in this niche area.
7. Collaborate with senior attorneys to develop case strategies, interpret laws and regulations, and provide comprehensive legal advice.
8. Stay updated on the latest industry trends, court decisions, and changes in laws and regulations that affect our practice areas.

Qualifications

To be considered for this position, you must have:

1. A Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
2. Admission to the state bar.
3. A minimum of 2 years of experience as an attorney, with a focus on commercial litigation, civil litigation, and trucking law.
4. Demonstrated expertise in legal research and writing.
5. Proven litigation skills, with the ability to manage multiple cases from preparation to final resolution.
6. Excellent negotiation skills, with a track record of achieving favorable outcomes for clients.
7. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and creatively.
