Job Details:

As a Permanent Associate Attorney - Civil Litigation, you will be joining a dynamic team of legal professionals in our established firm. You will be primarily focused on civil litigation, but your role will also encompass complex commercial litigation, real estate law, business transactions, compliance and regulatory expertise, estate and trust tax planning, corporate litigation, business litigation, and alternative dispute resolution. Responsibilities:

• Manage all aspects of civil litigation including drafting pleadings, discovery, pretrial motions, oral arguments, and trial preparation.
• Handle complex commercial litigation cases, providing expert advice and counsel to clients.
• Provide legal guidance in real estate law and business transactions, ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
• Develop and implement strategies for compliance and regulatory matters, acting as a key advisor to clients.
• Provide expert advice in estate and trust tax planning, helping clients to optimize their estate planning strategies.
• Handle corporate and business litigation, representing clients in disputes and providing expert advice and guidance.
• Participate in alternative dispute resolution processes, including mediation and arbitration, to resolve disputes in a timely and cost-effective manner.
• Keep abreast of changes in corporate law and civil litigation, ensuring that the firm's practices are always in compliance with the latest laws and regulations.

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctorate (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admitted to practice law in the state.
• Minimum of 3-7 years of experience in civil litigation, with a strong background in complex commercial litigation, real estate law, business transactions, compliance and regulatory matters, estate and trust tax planning, corporate litigation, business litigation, and alternative dispute resolution.
• Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects, display initiative, work well under pressure, and maintain confidentiality.
• Strong leadership skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• High level of professionalism and ethical standards.
• Proficient in legal research and writing.
• Proficient in the use of legal software and technology.
