We are seeking a passionate, self-motivated Permanent Associate Attorney to join our dynamic legal team. This is a unique opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, handling complex legal issues. The successful candidate will be a part of a team that handles a wide range of legal matters, including construction defect, employment law, commercial litigation, and insurance litigation. This position is 100% remote and the candidate must be based in Arizona or Utah. The position requires a minimum of 5 years of experience in the legal industry.

The successful candidate will be a part of a team that handles a wide range of legal matters, including construction defect, employment law, commercial litigation, and insurance litigation. This position is 100% remote and the candidate must be based in Arizona or Utah. The position requires a minimum of 5 years of experience in the legal industry.
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive legal advice and guidance to clients on a variety of issues related to construction defects, employment law, commercial litigation, and insurance litigation.
- Prepare and draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs.
- Conduct thorough legal research to support case preparation and strategy development.
- Represent clients in court, arguing motions, attending depositions, and advocating on their behalf during trial.
- Collaborate with other attorneys to develop strategies for complex litigation cases.
- Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients in mediation and arbitration proceedings.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of state and federal laws, court decisions, and emerging legal trends that may impact clients.
- Ensure all legal actions taken comply with applicable laws and regulations to protect clients' rights and interests.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school.
- Must be licensed to practice law in Arizona or Utah.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience as an Associate Attorney or related role.
- Proven experience in construction defect, employment law, commercial litigation, and insurance litigation.
- Strong experience in drafting and reviewing various legal documents.
- Trial experience is a plus.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to present complex legal concepts in a clear and persuasive manner.
- Proficiency in legal research and analysis.
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously.
- Proficiency in using legal software and technology for remote work.
- High ethical standards and professionalism in dealing with clients, colleagues, and the court.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and continuous learning.
