Job Details

Position Overview:
The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of relevant experience in estate planning, wealth transfer, and trust and estate administration. You will be expected to advise clients on complex estate, gift, and generation-skipping transfer tax issues, and work closely with other attorneys, fiduciaries, and financial professionals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Draft and review estate planning documents, including wills, revocable trusts, irrevocable trusts, powers of attorney, and healthcare directives
  • Advise clients on strategies for minimizing estate, gift, and generation-skipping transfer taxes
  • Guide clients through the trust and estate administration process, including probate filings and fiduciary obligations
  • Work collaboratively with firm partners, wealth advisors, accountants, and other professionals on integrated tax planning
  • Conduct legal research and prepare legal memoranda on estate and tax law issues

Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in tax, trusts, and estates law
  • LL.M. in Taxation or Estate Planning preferred
  • Active bar admission in Florida, New Jersey, or New York (must align with the office where the candidate wishes to reside)
  • Strong academic credentials from an accredited law school
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and organizational abilities
