A top client of ours out of Houston is hiring for their law firm. They are looking to hire at the associate attorney and senior levels. You will be joining a defense litigation practice group on a hybrid work model. We've placed multiple attorneys with this firm who will confidently say it is a great work place.

We are hiring for attorneys with 3-6 years or 6-10 years of experience in the following practice areas:
Commercial Litigation
General liability
Insurance defense
Construction defect
Personal injury
Premises liability
Product liability

Job Details

Responsibilities:

Manage cases from inception through resolution, including drafting pleadings, motions, discovery, and trial preparation.

Conduct depositions, hearings, mediations, and trials as appropriate to experience level.

Provide strategic counsel to clients while maintaining a proactive and responsive communication style.

Collaborate with senior attorneys and partners on complex litigation matters, with opportunities for increasing autonomy based on performance.

Mentor junior team members and contribute to firm development (Senior Associate level).

Qualifications:

J.D. from an accredited law school and active license to practice in Florida (or eligibility for reciprocity/waiver, if applicable).

3+ years of litigation experience (Associate); 7+ years preferred for Senior Associate.

Demonstrated experience in one or more of the firm’s core practice areas.

Strong research, writing, and courtroom skills.

Ability to handle a fast-paced caseload and work collaboratively within a team environment.
