Job Details

Responsibilities:

  • Provide legal support on a wide array of corporate matters, including corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions, securities law compliance, capital markets, venture capital, and private equity.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate various legal documents, including contracts, agreements, and transactional documents.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis to provide informed legal advice to clients.
  • Collaborate with other attorneys and professionals to provide comprehensive legal services.
  • Represent the firm and its clients in meetings, negotiations, and court proceedings.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients.
  • Stay updated on current trends, laws, and regulations in corporate law.

Qualifications:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Must be a member in good standing with the state bar.
  • Minimum of 2+ years of experience in corporate law, specifically in corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions, securities law compliance, capital markets, venture capital, private equity, and corporate governance.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Excellent legal research and writing skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, prioritize workload effectively, and thrive in a fast-paced and challenging environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • High level of professionalism and outstanding business judgment.
  • Proficient in legal research software and Microsoft Office Suite.
