Are you a public law attorney passionate about shaping communities and guiding local governments through complex legal terrain? A leading California-based law firm with deep expertise in public agency representation is seeking a Mid-Level Associate Attorney to join its fast-growing Municipal Law team in Irvine. What You’ll Do:
Advise public agencies and municipalities on governance, regulatory compliance, public contracts, and ethics

Navigate open meeting laws (e.g., Brown Act), public records laws, and municipal finance issues

Draft and negotiate contracts, ordinances, resolutions, and policies

Represent clients in hearings, city council meetings, and agency proceedings

Collaborate with senior attorneys and help mentor junior team members

What We’re Looking For:
Juris Doctor (JD) and licensed to practice law in California

4+ years of experience in general municipal or public agency law

Strong knowledge of open meeting laws, ethics regulations, and public contracting

Excellent communication, drafting, and problem-solving skills

A team-oriented mindset and a passion for public service
