Job Description:
As an Associate Attorney, you will play a key role in supporting our clients through all phases of litigation. You will be responsible for providing legal counsel, conducting research, drafting legal documents, and representing clients in court. The ideal candidate will have strong litigation experience, excellent analytical skills, and a passion for advocacy.

Responsibilities:
  • Handle a wide variety of civil litigation matters, including but not limited to commercial litigation, construction law, labor and employment law, and insurance defense.
  • Draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
  • Conduct thorough legal research and analysis on various case law, statutes, and regulations.
  • Participate in depositions, hearings, and trials as necessary.
  • Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and experts to develop case strategies.
  • Manage discovery, including drafting discovery requests and responses, and reviewing documents.
  • Work collaboratively with senior attorneys, paralegals, and other team members.
  • Provide legal advice and counseling to clients on a range of issues.
  • Ensure compliance with deadlines and court requirements.

Qualifications:
  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Active member in good standing of the Texas State Bar.
  • 2-5 years of civil litigation experience (commercial litigation, construction law, or insurance defense preferred).
  • Strong research, writing, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build and maintain client relationships.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
