Job Details
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
- Active member of the State Bar of California, and in good standing
- 2-5 years of experience practicing law, with a focus on civil litigation (insurance defense a plus)
- Proficiency in legal research software, including Westlaw, and a willingness to stay up-to-date with the latest developments in the field.
- Experience in taking depositions, drafting and arguing motions and legal research
- Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- A strong understanding of legal procedures and the ability to apply them in a variety of contexts
- A commitment to maintaining the highest standards of professionalism, integrity, and ethical conduct
- Trial experience not required, but is a plus
