We are currently seeking an experienced and dynamic Litigation Associate Attorney to join our esteemed legal team. This is an exceptional opportunity for a dedicated legal professional who is passionate about the practice of law and eager to make a significant impact within our firm. The successful candidate will be involved in conducting legal research, drafting legal documents, handling discovery and attending court hearings. This role calls for a strategic thinker who can handle complex legal issues and provide effective and practical legal advice and solutions.
Responsibilities:
1. Represent clients in court
2. Prepare and draft a variety of documents including pleadings, motions and briefs.
3. Conduct thorough legal research and analysis.
5. Develop litigation strategies, conduct/defend depositions, and coordinate with expert witnesses.
6. Maintain client relationships and communicate with clients to provide necessary updates.
Qualifications:
1. Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
2. Must be a licensed attorney in the state of Alabama (AL)
4. Proven expertise in drafting and preparing legal documents, conducting legal research, and legal writing.
5. Excellent negotiation and communication skills, both oral and written.
6. Strong analytical abilities and capacity to handle large amounts of complex information.
7. Proficient in legal research software and tools.
8. Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and work under pressure to meet deadlines.
