Job Details

We are seeking an energetic, self-motivated, and highly skilled Associate Attorney to join our dynamic legal team. This is an outstanding opportunity to work in a fast-paced, challenging environment, handling a broad range of business litigation matters. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in collections, creditors' rights, breach of contract, and employment litigation. This position requires a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience and offers the opportunity to work on complex legal issues, develop your skills, and make a significant impact.

Responsibilities:

1. Represent clients in court or before government agencies, presenting evidence to defend or prosecute lawsuits.
2. Advise clients concerning business transactions, claim liability, advisability of prosecuting or defending lawsuits, or legal rights and obligations.
3. Interpret laws, rulings, and regulations for individuals and businesses.
4. Analyze the probable outcomes of cases, using knowledge of legal precedents.
5. Evaluate findings and develop strategies and arguments in preparation for presentation of cases.
6. Present and summarize cases to judges and juries.
7. Gather evidence to formulate defense or to initiate legal actions, by such means as interviewing clients and witnesses to ascertain the facts of a case.
8. Perform administrative and management functions related to the practice of law.
9. Act as agent, trustee, guardian, or executor for businesses or individuals.
10. Negotiate settlements of civil disputes.

Qualifications:

1. Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school.
2. Admitted to practice in the state.
3. Minimum of 2 years of experience in business litigation, collections, creditors' rights, breach of contract, and employment litigation.
4. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
5. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
6. Ability to build rapport with clients.
7. Commitment to the highest levels of professional responsibility and ethics.
8. Proven background in the ability to handle complex legal issues.
9. Exceptional negotiation skills and the ability to interpret laws and regulations.
10. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
11. Proficient in legal research software and Microsoft Office Suite.
