We are seeking an experienced, dynamic, and dedicated Permanent Associate Attorney to join our legal team. Responsibilities:

As a Permanent Associate Attorney, your primary responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

1. Representing clients in court and before government agencies, presenting well-prepared, organized, and clear arguments on their behalf.
2. Conducting extensive legal research to support case preparation and legal proceedings.
3. Preparing legal documents such as pleadings, briefs, motions, appeals, contracts, and depositions.
4. Managing all phases of the litigation process from investigation, pleadings, and discovery through pre-trial, trial, settlement, and appeal.
5. Negotiating settlements to resolve disputes in favor of our clients.
6. Maintaining a high level of professionalism and confidentiality in all interactions with clients, court personnel, and other parties.
7. Keeping abreast of changes in laws and regulations to ensure compliance and provide accurate legal advice.
8. Participating in business development activities to attract and retain clients.
9. Collaborating with the legal team to develop effective case strategies.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate for the Permanent Associate Attorney position must possess the following qualifications:

1. Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
2. Judicial clerkship experience.
3. Admission to the Alabama State Bar and in good standing.
4. Exceptional knowledge of civil litigation procedures, rules of evidence, and local, state, and federal laws.
5. Excellent negotiation, research, and communication skills.
6. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to handle complex legal issues.
