Job Details

Responsibilities:

As a Permanent Associate Attorney, you will be required to:

1. Prepare and draft legal documents including pleadings, motions, briefs, appeals, contracts, and legal memoranda.
2. Represent clients in court hearings, trials, mediations, and arbitration proceedings.
3. Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to advise clients on various legal matters.
4. Develop effective litigation strategies and assist in trial preparation.
5. Participate in alternative dispute resolution processes such as negotiation, mediation, and arbitration to resolve client issues.
6. Work collaboratively with other attorneys in the firm to ensure the best representation for our clients.
7. Maintain professional growth and development through seminars, workshops, and professional affiliations to keep abreast of the latest developments in law and in the legal industry.
8. Ensure compliance with state and federal court rules and procedures.

Qualifications:

To be considered for this position, you must have:

1. A Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience as a practicing attorney, preferably in a law firm setting.
3. Admission to the state bar and eligibility to practice law in federal courts.
4. Proven experience in drafting legal documents, conducting hearings, preparing for trials, and participating in alternative dispute resolution processes.
5. Excellent knowledge of state and federal court procedures.
6. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and make sound legal judgments.
7. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated ability to effectively represent clients and interact with all levels of personnel.
8. High ethical standards and professionalism, with a commitment to confidentiality and integrity.
9. The ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and work under pressure to meet deadlines.
