Job Details

We are seeking an Associate with two to five years of transactional/contract experience involving construction projects to join the Construction and Design Practice Group in our Denver office. The projects include, but are not limited to, industrial, energy, renewable, residential, and commercial projects. This position involves drafting and negotiating EPC/BOP contracts, cost-plus contracts, fixed-price contracts, CM agreements, professional services agreements (e.g., engineering, architectural, etc.), subcontractor and supply agreements, and a variety of other commercial contracts.

Our projects include a wide variety of legal work, including handling disputes on construction projects that involve the following:

  • Energy projects, including wind, solar, hydroelectric, and natural gas facilities
  • Agricultural, food processing, and industrial facilities
  • Mining and natural resource facilities
  • Athletic stadiums and facilities
  • Fulfillment center projects
  • Manufacturing, research & development, and warehouse facilities
  • General commercial construction

Qualified candidates will have:
  • A JD degree from an ABA-accredited law school;
  • Two to five years of transactional/contract experience involving construction projects;
  • Colorado bar admission or the ability to become admitted in Colorado;
  • Strong attention to detail;
  • Excellent writing and organizational skills; and
  • Top academic credentials.
