Job Details

We are seeking a dynamic, detail-oriented, and experienced Associate Attorney to join our legal team. This position offers an opportunity to engage in a comprehensive, hands-on approach to legal matters, focusing primarily on commercial debt, negotiating settlements, discovery, trial, civil litigation, liaising with collection agencies, and representing clients in federal courts. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in these areas and a passion for delivering high-quality legal services to our clients.

Responsibilities:
1. Provide legal counsel and representation to clients in commercial debt matters, including negotiation and enforcement of settlements.
2. Conduct comprehensive discovery processes, ensuring the timely and accurate gathering and analysis of evidence.
3. Represent clients in trials, effectively presenting arguments and evidence to achieve favorable outcomes.
4. Engage in all aspects of civil litigation, including case preparation, filing of pleadings, and court appearances.
5. Liaise with collection agencies on behalf of clients, negotiating settlements and ensuring adherence to all relevant laws and regulations.
6. Advocate for clients in federal courts, demonstrating a thorough understanding of federal laws and procedures.
7. Collaborate with the legal team to develop and implement effective legal strategies.

Qualifications:
1. Juris Doctorate (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
2. A current license to practice law.
3. A minimum of 5 years of experience as an attorney, with a particular focus on commercial debt, negotiating settlements, discovery, trial, civil litigation, and dealing with collection agencies.
4. Prior experience representing clients in federal courts.
5. Exceptional negotiation skills and the ability to effectively resolve disputes.
6. Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret laws, regulations, and complex legal documents.
7. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively articulate legal strategies and arguments to clients, colleagues, and court officials.
