Our law firm is seeking a dynamic, detail-oriented, personal injury Attorney to join our thriving legal team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in handling plaintiff cases, with a particular focus on motor vehicle accident, slip and falls, and construction defects. This position offers a unique opportunity to work on high-profile cases, gain extensive courtroom experience, and work with a team of seasoned professionals dedicated to upholding justice and advocating for our clients.
Responsibilities:
As a Permanent Associate Attorney, your key responsibilities will include:
1. Representing plaintiffs in a wide range of motor vehicle and personal injury related cases.
2. Conducting comprehensive research to build strong cases and provide sound legal advice to clients.
3. Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating legal documents, including pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and settlement agreements.
4. Preparing and delivering persuasive arguments in court.
5. Collaborating with partners and other associates to develop effective case strategies.
6. Meeting with clients to discuss case details, provide updates, and address any concerns.
7. Staying up-to-date with the latest legal developments and changes in motor vehicle laws.
8. Maintaining the highest level of professional and ethical conduct.
Qualifications:
To be considered for this position, you should have the following qualifications:
1. Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
2. A minimum of 2 years of experience as an Associate Attorney, with a strong focus on plaintiff representation.
3. Admission to the Alabama state bar.
4. Excellent research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
5. Strong negotiation and advocacy skills.
6. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex legal concepts to clients in a clear and concise manner.
7. Ability to work effectively as part of a team and manage a heavy caseload.
8. High level of professional and ethical conduct.
9. Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
10. Proficiency in using legal research software and other computer applications related to the work.
