Responsibilities
Qualifications
- Client interaction and intake
- Case management and review
- Interview of clients and witnesses
- Review pleadings, motions, discovery, and related case evidence
- Legal research and writing, prepare and oppose motions, pleadings, and discovery
- Conduct depositions, hearings, and trials
- Attend court appearances
- Negotiate dispositions and/or settlements
Qualifications
- 3 to 5 years' experience in family or matrimonial law, criminal defense, and/or litigation
- Juris Doctorate Degree from an accredited Law School
- Admission to the New York State Bar
- Federal admission for litigation and criminal law candidates preferred
