We are currently seeking a dynamic and highly-skilled Permanent Associate to join our Corporate Real Estate team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with a diverse portfolio of clients, including top-tier real estate investment trusts (REITs), private equity firms, and corporate entities involved in high-stakes acquisitions and dispositions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in real estate and corporate law, with a particular focus on Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A). This is a unique chance to be part of a team that is at the forefront of the legal industry, providing expert counsel and services to some of the most prestigious clients in the real estate market.

Responsibilities

As a Permanent Associate in our Corporate Real Estate team, you will:

1. Provide expert legal counsel to a diverse range of clients, including REITs, private equity firms, and corporate entities.
2. Handle all aspects of real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, and M&A.
3. Draft, review, and negotiate complex real estate and corporate agreements.
4. Conduct due diligence investigations and risk assessments.
5. Collaborate with other team members to develop strategies and solutions for complex legal issues.

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you will need:

1. A Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
2. Admission to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction.
3. A minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role, with a strong focus on real estate and corporate law.
4. Proven experience in handling real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, and M&A.
5. Experience working with REITs and private equity firms is highly desirable.
6. Exceptional negotiation skills and a keen eye for detail.
