Job Details

The Associate Director of Digital Banking & Treasury Services partners closely with the Director of Digital Banking to provide enterprise leadership across the Bank’s digital channels, treasury services, payments, and card functions during a period of significant transformation and growth. This position plays a critical role in translating strategic priorities into effective, hands-on execution of key initiatives, stepping into complex or high-impact situations as needed to drive resolution, sustain momentum, and uphold a high standard of client experience and operational performance.

Required Knowledge

  • Advanced knowledge of digital banking platforms, treasury management services, payments ecosystems, and card services within a commercial banking environment.
  • Strong understanding of multi-rail payments (ACH, RTP, FedNow, wires), digital servicing capabilities, and client-facing channel delivery models, including end-to-end service expectations.
  • Deep understanding of operational risk, regulatory compliance, information security, and vendor oversight, with the ability to apply these principles across banking products and digital channels.
  • Knowledge of core banking systems, digital platform integrations, internal infrastructure dependencies, and the complexities of large-scale implementation environments.
  • Understanding of product design and management disciplines, including client journey mapping, roadmap development, and service model design to drive adoption and improve experience.
  • Expertise in third-party vendor management, including service level oversight, implementation coordination, issue resolution, and alignment across internal and external stakeholders.
  • Understanding of innovation practices, adoption strategies, and marketing approaches (internal and client-facing) that support product growth and increased client engagement.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required; advanced business, finance, or technical degree preferred.
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in Digital Banking, Treasury Management, Payments, Card Services, or related banking operations.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience driving critical initiatives, coordinating across functions, and enabling teams to execute effectively in complex, fast-paced environments.
  • Proven experience in product design and management, client journey mapping, strategic roadmap development, and operational transformation.
  • Experience managing third-party vendor relationships, leading major system implementations, and navigating complex integration environments.
  • Experience stepping into high-priority or complex situations, resolving execution challenges, and working effectively across organizational boundaries preferred.
  • Experience supporting innovation initiatives, go-to-market planning, and internal or client-facing marketing efforts that drive adoption and growth preferred.
  • Relevant industry certifications such as Accredited ACH Professional (AAP), Accredited Payments Risk Professional (APRP), National Check Professional (NCP), or similar are preferred
