- 9 Electrical Engineers
MUST HAVES:
- Manage and lead others.
- PE
- NEC (National Electric Code)
NICE TO HAVES:
- Experience in Federal/Municipal Government, Healthcare, or Aviation.
- LEED AP certification.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead the design effort on both large and small projects.
- Manage design schedules and oversee design team members.
- Collaborate directly with Architects and Owners.
- Evaluate, select, and apply engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria to assigned projects.
- Mentor senior and junior-level staff.
- Prepare various written reports and meeting minutes.
- Produce and lead the creation of design documents (drawings and specifications).
- Travel for projects both nationally and internationally as needed.
- Provide Quality Control (QC) to ensure adherence to applicable codes, company standards, and project requirements.
- Serve as a technical consultant for planning, design, and construction across various facility categories.
- Assist in determining departmental resources and long-term planning.
- Delegate tasks and responsibilities effectively.
- Serve as the individual in responsible charge of projects (DOR).
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
- PE Registration with the ability to be licensed by comity in other states.
- 15+ years of experience in Electrical Design, including power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, grounding, and coordination/arc flash studies.
- Extensive knowledge of the National Electric Code.
- Strong knowledge of Building Codes, applicable NFPA Codes, and Energy Codes.
- Proficiency in REVIT and AutoCAD.
