Job Details

We are seeking a dynamic Associate General Counsel to join our expanding legal team. This role will work closely with the Chief Legal Officer to support the company's continued growth through strategic legal counsel, regulatory compliance, and cross-functional partnership with business teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with business teams on commercial transactions and strategic initiatives
  • Draft, review, and negotiate complex commercial agreements including vendor contracts, partnership agreements, and customer terms
  • Support corporate governance matters including board meetings, equity administration, and corporate compliance
  • Manage regulatory compliance initiatives across multiple jurisdictions
  • Lead employment law matters including policy development and workforce compliance
  • Oversee intellectual property protection and licensing strategies
  • Support M&A activities including due diligence and integration planning
  • Manage relationships with outside counsel and optimize legal spend

Requirements

  • JD from an accredited law school and active bar admission
  • 5-8 years of legal experience, with significant in-house experience preferred
  • Strong background in commercial transactions and technology law
  • Experience with employment law and regulatory compliance matters
  • Proven track record in fast-paced, high-growth environments
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across teams
  • Experience with corporate governance and securities matters preferred
  • Technology industry experience strongly preferred
