Job Details
- Represent clients in civil and commercial litigation cases in state and federal courts.
- Conduct legal research, prepare legal documents, and develop case strategies.
- Attend court hearings, depositions, and settlement negotiations.
- Collaborate with senior attorneys and clients to provide legal advice and case updates.
- Provide legal counsel in patent applications, patent prosecution, and patent litigation.
- Draft and file patent applications and responses to patent office actions.
- Assist in intellectual property disputes and trademark/copyright matters.
- Conduct IP due diligence and support IP transactions.
- Consult with clients to understand their legal needs and provide tailored advice.
- Maintain strong client relationships and provide regular updates on case progress.
- Collaborate with clients on legal strategies and objectives.
- Conduct legal research on relevant laws, regulations, and case precedents.
- Analyze legal issues and provide recommendations to clients.
- Stay updated on developments in patent and intellectual property law.
- Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, contracts, patents, and legal opinions.
- Review and proofread legal documents for accuracy and completeness.
- Collaborate with senior attorneys, paralegals, and support staff on case management.
- Participate in case strategy discussions and contribute to team goals.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Minimum 3years of experience as an Associate Attorney, with a focus on litigation and patent/intellectual property law.
- Strong knowledge of patent law, intellectual property law, and litigation procedures.
- Excellent research and legal writing skills.
- Exceptional communication and negotiation abilities.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously.
- Proficiency in legal research tools and technology.
