We’re Hiring:
Associate Relationship Manager
We are seeking an Associate Relationship Manager (ARM) who will work closely with our Relationship Management team. In this role, the ARM will support and collaborate with Relationship Managers to provide a first‑class experience to existing and prospective clients. The ARM will have direct client responsibility and must be able to maintain and cultivate strong networks with various functional teams within the firm, as well as with existing and prospective clients and their spheres of influence.
The successful candidate will have demonstrated experience in investment management and will be a self‑starter with a proactive mentality and growth mindset. The candidate should be highly professional and possess excellent communication skills. This is an entrepreneurial organization with a successful track record of delivering consistent long‑term investment results through high standards and accountability, and we are looking for someone enthusiastic about working in this environment.
There is opportunity to grow and succeed either within the Associate Relationship Manager role or along a defined trajectory toward becoming a Relationship Manager.
Responsibilities
The ultimate goal of this position is for the Associate Relationship Manager to assume comprehensive management of the day‑to‑day needs of the firm’s clients, allowing Relationship Managers to focus on client acquisition and retention.
Success in the role is demonstrated by the ability to perform the following:
Client and Prospect Meetings
Lead and manage preparation for all client meetings
Attend client meetings, prepare meeting summaries, and oversee follow‑up correspondence and next steps
Initiate pre‑meeting huddles, collaborating with internal teams to deliver tailored client‑facing reports and presentations
Collaborate with the Administrative Associate, Reporting Team, and IST Portfolio Analyst to review and verify client performance reports
Financial Planning
Perform and supervise data entry for eMoney financial plans, balance sheets, and other client forms
Review Holistiplan reports and communicate recommendations to clients
Create and review Implementation Plans to ensure strategies align with client goals
Assist in developing estate planning recommendations
Utilize Riskalyze with clients and prospects to assess risk tolerance
Day‑to‑Day and Account Oversight
Serve as liaison between Relationship Managers, Relationship Associates, and Administrative Associates for daily client management
Monitor portfolios and recommend asset allocation adjustments aligned with client objectives
Provide proactive tax‑related support in collaboration with clients’ CPAs
Serve as liaison to the investment team and suggest appropriate opportunities for client participation in Private Capital
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree
5+ years of experience in investment management or portfolio construction
3+ years of client‑facing experience
Willingness to pursue CFP or other industry certification
Ability to interpret financial data, monitor portfolios, and recommend investment strategies aligned with client goals
Strong technology skills and proficiency
Advanced Excel skills
Proficiency with eMoney, Addepar, RedBlack, Box, Salesforce, and NetX360 strongly preferred (or experience with similar systems)
