Job Details

Responsibilities:

  • Patient Care: Conduct scheduled wellness and sick appointments, providing high-quality medical care to small animals.
  • Surgical Skills: Perform surgeries such as spays, neuters, lumpectomies, wound repairs, and dental surgeries. A dedicated day for surgeries and dentistry is provided.
  • Diagnostic Proficiency: Utilize modern diagnostic tools including digital radiology, ultrasound, and in-house laboratory equipment for patient assessments.
  • Client Interaction: Offer exceptional customer service, engaging with pet owners to understand their needs and providing clear communication about their pet's health.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with other veterinary professionals in a supportive and collaborative environment, contributing to the overall success of the hospital.

Qualifications

  • Education: A Doctorate degree from an accredited veterinary university.
  • Licensure: Valid veterinary license to practice in Pennsylvania.
  • Surgical and Dental Skills: Preferably skilled in performing surgeries and dental procedures.
  • Communication Skills: Strong ability to communicate effectively with both pet owners and the veterinary team.
  • Adaptability: Willingness to adapt to the varying needs of patients and the ability to handle different medical situations with confidence.
