Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee all aspects of our company's financial systems, including auditing, assurance, and compliance with PCAOB and SEC regulations.
  • Develop and implement effective assurance strategies to ensure the accuracy and reliability of our financial data.
  • Lead and manage a team of assurance professionals, providing guidance, training, and mentorship as needed.
  • Conduct regular audits and reviews of our financial systems to identify any potential risks or discrepancies.
  • Liaise with external auditors and regulatory bodies, ensuring all audits and inspections are conducted smoothly and efficiently.
  • Prepare and present detailed reports on audit findings and recommendations to senior management.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, regulations, and best practices in assurance and compliance.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and excellence within the assurance team.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A Master's degree would be an added advantage.
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license is required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, with a strong focus on auditing and assurance.
  • Extensive knowledge and experience with PCAOB and SEC regulations.
  • Proven experience in managing and leading a team of professionals.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with all levels of management.
  • High level of integrity and professionalism, with a strong commitment to ethical standards.
  • Proficient in using various accounting and auditing software.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
