Job Details

Qualifications – Needed:

  • JD degree and active license to practice law in California
  • Minimum 1 year of legal experience, ideally in litigation or collections
  • Experience or interest in high-volume legal practice or consumer debt litigation
  • Strong background in legal document drafting and negotiation
  • Excellent organizational and client communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple files and collaborate with team members
  • Additional bar licenses in NV, AZ, CO, or NM are a plus

Key Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Review and draft legal documents related to debt collection and enforcement
  • Participate in all phases of litigation and post-judgment recovery
  • Make suit recommendations and collaborate with litigation staff
  • Communicate with consumers, opposing counsel, and third parties
  • Represent clients in court proceedings (training/mentorship provided)
  • Maintain organized case records and compliance with legal procedures
  • Contribute to firmwide process improvements and team support
