Job Details
Qualifications – Needed:
Key Responsibilities and Duties:
- JD degree and active license to practice law in California
- Minimum 1 year of legal experience, ideally in litigation or collections
- Experience or interest in high-volume legal practice or consumer debt litigation
- Strong background in legal document drafting and negotiation
- Excellent organizational and client communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple files and collaborate with team members
- Additional bar licenses in NV, AZ, CO, or NM are a plus
Key Responsibilities and Duties:
- Review and draft legal documents related to debt collection and enforcement
- Participate in all phases of litigation and post-judgment recovery
- Make suit recommendations and collaborate with litigation staff
- Communicate with consumers, opposing counsel, and third parties
- Represent clients in court proceedings (training/mentorship provided)
- Maintain organized case records and compliance with legal procedures
- Contribute to firmwide process improvements and team support
