Job Details
You'll defend and litigate civil and insurance defense matters across a varied docket, handling cases through hearings, motion practice, discovery, and trial preparation.
Looking for:
Experience in any of the following areas welcomed:
- Manage civil litigation and insurance defense matters from inception through resolution
- Attend court hearings, arbitrations, mediations, and depositions
- Draft and respond to written discovery
- Draft and review contractual agreements
- Prepare cases for trial and, where applicable, second-chair or try matters
Looking for:
- California Bar admission
- 2+ years civil litigation / insurance defense experience
- Demonstrated experience attending court hearings, arbitration, mediation, and depositions
- Experience drafting discovery and contractual agreements
- Trial experience preferred, not required
- Associate through of counsel
Experience in any of the following areas welcomed:
- General liability
- Premises liability
- Construction defense
- Transportation / trucking
- Employment defense
- Real estate / land use
