Job Details
Responsibilities:
* Handle all phases of commercial litigation, from pre-suit investigation through trial
* Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and legal memoranda with minimal supervision
* Take and defend depositions of parties, experts, and key witnesses
* Provide strategic legal counsel to clients on a range of business disputes
* Represent clients in court hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and settlement negotiations
* Collaborate with internal legal teams and outside experts to develop effective litigation strategies
* Meet a minimum annual billing requirement of 1,800 hours
Qualifications:
* J.D. from an accredited law school
* Active license to practice law in Colorado
* 2–8 years of litigation experience, with a strong foundation in commercial or business litigation
* Exceptional legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills
* Ability to manage a complex caseload in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
* Experience representing businesses, financial institutions, or insurers is a plus
* Prior exposure to contract disputes, business torts, real estate litigation, or employment matters is highly desirable
