Job Details
Responsibilities:
Provide legal representation in cases involving product liability, premise liability, and other areas of liability.
Conduct legal research, analyze case law, and prepare legal documents (pleadings, motions, briefs).
Attend court hearings, depositions, and trials to represent and argue for clients.
Communicate with clients, witnesses, and involved parties to gather evidence and build a robust defense.
Negotiate settlements with opposing counsel and insurance companies.
Collaborate with legal colleagues to develop effective strategies for optimal client outcomes.
Qualifications:
Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school.
Active state law license.
Minimum 2 years of legal experience, specializing in insurance defense.
Proficiency in product liability, premise liability, and other areas of liability.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Ability to independently manage a caseload.
Effective negotiation and advocacy skills.
Active Florida License.
