Attorney, Insurance Defense

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Attorney specializing in Insurance Defense to join our dynamic legal team. This role requires a deep understanding of legal principles and practices, with a specialty in insurance defense litigation. This position offers an exciting opportunity to represent and protect the interests of our clients in legal matters, primarily focusing on insurance defense. The candidate will be involved in high-profile cases, providing an opportunity to make significant contributions to our firm's success.

Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will be responsible for a wide range of duties including, but not limited to:

1. Representing clients in all phases of insurance defense litigation from inception to resolution.
2. Drafting pleadings, motions, briefs, reports, and other legal documents.
3. Conducting and managing discovery, including taking and defending depositions.
4. Negotiating settlements on behalf of clients in alignment with their best interests.
5. Representing clients in court, presenting evidence, and making legal arguments.
6. Conducting legal research, interpreting laws, rulings, and regulations in legal documents.
7. Collaborating with legal team members to develop defense strategies.
8. Maintaining communication with clients, keeping them informed about case progress and legal advice.
9. Ensuring compliance with all legal standards and regulations.

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for this position should possess the following:

1. Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
2. Admission to the state bar.
3. Minimum of 2 years of experience in litigation, with a focus on insurance defense and civil litigation.
4. Demonstrated experience in drafting legal documents, conducting legal research, and managing complex cases.
5. Exceptional negotiation skills and the ability to resolve disputes effectively.
6. Excellent oral and written communication skills.
7. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
8. Ability to work independently, manage large amounts of data, and multi-task.
9. High degree of professional ethics, integrity, and gravitas.
