Our firm is seeking a seasoned Permanent Attorney specializing in Labor & Employment to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a strong work ethic and a passion for labor and employment law. This is an exciting opportunity to work on high-profile cases and provide top-notch legal services to our clients. This position will require a commitment to exceptional client service and an ability to balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

As a Permanent Attorney (Labor & Employment), your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

1. Representing clients in all aspects of labor and employment disputes, including class action and single-plaintiff employment litigation.
2. Providing proactive legal advice and solutions to clients concerning federal, state, and local labor and employment laws.
3. Developing and implementing strategies to manage employment-related litigation and minimize potential employment-related liabilities.
4. Conducting thorough and timely investigations into complaints and allegations of harassment, discrimination, and other forms of workplace misconduct.
5. Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating employment agreements, severance agreements, and other employment-related documents.
6. Providing client counseling and training on a variety of labor and employment issues, including wage and hour laws, workplace safety, and employee discipline and termination.
7. Keeping abreast of developments in labor and employment law and advising clients accordingly.

Qualifications:

The successful candidate will possess the following qualifications:

1. J.D. degree from an accredited law school and admission to a state bar.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in labor and employment law, with a focus on class action and single-plaintiff employment litigation.
3. Proven track record of providing high-quality legal advice in a timely and effective manner.
4. Excellent legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills.
5. Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive working relationships with clients and colleagues.
6. Exceptional organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
7. Demonstrated commitment to professional ethics and client confidentiality.
8. Proficiency in legal research tools and technology.
9. Experience in client counseling and providing legal training is a plus.
