Our prestigious law firm is seeking a seasoned Permanent Attorney/Partner with a focus in one or a combination of the following: Corporate Tax Law, Real Estate, Trust & Estates, Labor & Employment Law. This is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced professional to join our dynamic team, providing strategic legal advice to our diverse portfolio of clients. The successful candidate will be an integral part of our firm, working closely with clients, associates, and partners to develop and implement innovative tax strategies that align with our clients' business objectives.
Responsibilities:
As a Permanent Attorney/Partner, your primary responsibilities will include:
1. Providing expert legal advice on a wide range of issues
2. Representing clients in court or before government agencies, presenting compelling legal arguments and evidence.
3. Developing and implementing innovative tax strategies that align with our clients' business objectives.
4. Reviewing and drafting complex documents, agreements, and contracts.
5. Collaborating with associates and partners to provide comprehensive legal services to our clients.
6. Keeping abreast of changes in corporate tax law and advising clients accordingly.
7. Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, understanding their business needs and providing tailored legal solutions.
8. Contributing to the firm's business development efforts, including networking, writing articles, and speaking at conferences.
9. Mentoring and developing junior attorneys, fostering a supportive and inclusive work environment.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for the Permanent Attorney/Partner position will possess the following qualifications:
1. Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
2. Admission to the state bar.
3. A minimum of 10 years of experience in as a subject matter expert in your area of Law, with a proven track record of success.
4. In-depth knowledge of federal, state, and local laws
5. Exceptional legal research and writing skills.
6. Strong negotiation and dispute resolution skills.
7. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, associates, and partners.
8. Proven ability to develop and implement innovative tax strategies.
9. A commitment to professional ethics and the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
10. A strong business acumen, with the ability to understand and advise on the business implications of legal decisions.
11. Experience in mentoring and developing junior attorneys.
