Job Details

  • Join a dynamic team of nationally recognized insurance coverage litigators
  • Analyze complex first-party and third-party coverage issues across various policy types
  • Handle declaratory judgment actions, bad faith claims, and extra-contractual litigation
  • Provide strategic coverage opinions and guidance on regulatory and compliance matters
  • Represent insurers in high-value disputes involving property, liability, environmental, construction, and energy-related losses
  • Manage multi-jurisdictional litigation, arbitration, and administrative proceedings from inception through resolution

Qualifications:

  • J.D. and licensed to practice in New York
  • Minimum 4 years of experience focused on insurance coverage litigation
  • Experience with first- and third-party coverage disputes, bad faith litigation, and complex policy interpretation
  • Strong understanding of primary, excess, and umbrella policies, including policy exclusions and allocation issues
  • Proven ability to manage sophisticated litigation independently and engage directly with insurer clients
  • Excellent legal research, drafting, and case strategy skills
