Job Details
- Manage a diverse range of estate planning matters, including the creation and execution of wills, trusts, and powers of attorney
- Lead consultations with clients to develop customized estate plans that address their unique needs and goals
- Conduct legal research on estate, tax, and probate laws to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
- Prepare and review complex legal documents, including estate planning instruments and asset protection strategies
- Facilitate communication between clients, financial advisors, and other professionals to coordinate comprehensive estate planning solutions
- Handle disputes regarding the validity of wills or trusts, assisting in resolving disagreements among beneficiaries or challenges to fiduciary conduct
- Provide guidance on the tax implications of estate planning decisions, including assistance with estate tax filings and strategies to minimize tax liabilities
- Support the administration of estates, ensuring timely and efficient handling of probate processes and related legal matters
We’re Looking For:
- Licensed to practice law in North Carolina
- 4+ years of recent experience in estate planning, probate, and trust administration
- Proven ability to manage client relationships and lead consultations effectively
