Job Details
Our team represents clients in a wide range of projects — including commercial, industrial, public works, military, hotel, sports facility, hospital, infrastructure, multi-family, and mixed-use developments. We assist with everything from front-end contract drafting to back-end dispute resolution, including mechanic’s liens, construction and design defects, payment disputes, bid protests, and claims before contract boards of appeal or government agencies.

Qualifications:

- Handle a broad range of construction-related cases from inception through resolution
- Draft, review, and negotiate construction contracts, subcontracts, and change orders
- Represent clients in state and federal court, arbitration, mediation, and administrative proceedings
- Manage discovery, including depositions, written discovery, and document review
- Prepare and argue motions, pleadings, and briefs
- Enforce and defend mechanic’s lien and payment bond claims (Miller Act, public/private work)
- Advise clients on claims preparation, risk management, and dispute avoidance
- Collaborate with partners and clients to develop practical, results-oriented legal strategies
Qualifications:
- J.D. and active license to practice in Colorado
- Minimum 2+ years of construction law or complex commercial litigation experience
