Job Details

Responsibilities:

Provide comprehensive legal advice on a wide range of issues, including but not limited to, corporate law, commercial transactions, regulatory compliance, and litigation.
Develop and implement risk management strategies and processes to identify, assess, monitor, and mitigate legal risks across the organization.
Review, draft, and negotiate various types of contracts and agreements to safeguard the organization's interests.
Collaborate with different departments to provide legal guidance and support in their operations.
Represent the organization in legal proceedings, prepare legal pleadings, and manage disputes effectively.
Stay abreast of changes in laws and regulations that may affect the organization and ensure necessary adjustments are made to internal policies.
Develop strong relationships with key stakeholders and provide training to staff on legal risk management and compliance matters.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Law (LLB) from an accredited university.
A minimum of 3 years of experience as an Attorney, preferably in a corporate environment or law firm.
Must be a licensed attorney in good standing with the state bar.
Solid knowledge and understanding of corporate law and risk management principles.
Proven experience in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make sound decisions.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of management.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, projects, and stakeholders effectively.
High degree of professional ethics, integrity, and gravitas.
Proficient in legal research tools and software.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
