Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive legal advice on a wide range of issues, including but not limited to, corporate law, commercial transactions, regulatory compliance, and litigation.
• Develop and implement risk management strategies and processes to identify, assess, monitor, and mitigate legal risks across the organization.
• Review, draft, and negotiate various types of contracts and agreements to safeguard the organization's interests.
• Collaborate with different departments to provide legal guidance and support in their operations.
• Represent the organization in legal proceedings, prepare legal pleadings, and manage disputes effectively.
• Stay abreast of changes in laws and regulations that may affect the organization and ensure necessary adjustments are made to internal policies.
• Develop strong relationships with key stakeholders and provide training to staff on legal risk management and compliance matters.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Law (LLB) from an accredited university.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience as an Attorney, preferably in a corporate environment or law firm.
• Must be a licensed attorney in good standing with the state bar.
• Solid knowledge and understanding of corporate law and risk management principles.
• Proven experience in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make sound decisions.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of management.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, projects, and stakeholders effectively.
• High degree of professional ethics, integrity, and gravitas.
• Proficient in legal research tools and software.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
