We are seeking a highly motivated and qualified Permanent Attorney with a strong background in Family Law. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic legal team and contribute to maintaining and enhancing our firm's reputation for excellence. This position offers an exceptional opportunity for career development and growth in a challenging and rewarding environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling a diverse caseload of family law matters, providing legal advice to clients, and representing clients in court.
Responsibilities:
1. Handle a variety of family law matters including divorce, child custody, spousal support, adoption, and domestic violence cases.
2. Provide comprehensive legal advice to clients regarding their rights, obligations, and legal options.
3. Represent clients in court proceedings, mediations, and negotiations.
4. Prepare and draft legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and agreements.
5. Conduct legal research and analysis to support case preparation and strategy development.
6. Collaborate with legal support staff to ensure efficient case management and client service.
7. Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients through regular communication and exceptional service.
8. Stay updated on current laws, regulations, and industry trends related to family law.
9. Participate in business development activities to expand the firm's client base and enhance its reputation in the legal community.
Qualifications:
1. Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
2. Admission to the state bar and in good standing.
3. Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Associate Family Law Attorney, Senior Family Law Attorney, Family Law Lawyer, or equivalent.
4. Proven track record of successfully handling a diverse caseload of family law matters.
5. Exceptional legal research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
6. Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to effectively advocate for clients.
7. High degree of professionalism and ethical standards.
8. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to establish and maintain positive relationships with clients and colleagues.
9. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
10. Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
