We are currently seeking a dynamic, experienced, and highly skilled Permanent Attorney to join our growing team. This is an extraordinary opportunity for an individual who thrives in a challenging and fast-paced work environment. You will be an integral part of our legal team, representing clients in a wide range of family law matters, including divorce, child custody, child support, spousal support, property division, domestic violence, guardianship, and alternative dispute resolution.

Responsibilities:

As a Permanent Attorney, you will be expected to:

1. Represent clients in court, before government agencies, and in private legal matters.
2. Communicate with clients, colleagues, judges, and others involved in the case.
3. Conduct research and analysis of legal problems.
4. Interpret laws, rulings, and regulations for individuals and businesses.
5. Present facts in writing and verbally to their clients or others, and argue on their behalf.
6. Prepare and file legal documents, such as lawsuits, appeals, wills, contracts, and deeds.
7. Provide competent legal advice to clients in various family law matters.
8. Negotiate settlements in civil disputes.
9. Handle divorce proceedings, including division of assets, child custody, child support, and spousal support.
10. Advocate for victims of domestic violence and handle related legal matters.
11. Manage guardianship cases, ensuring the best interests of the child or dependent adult are upheld.
12. Facilitate alternative dispute resolution methods, such as mediation and negotiation, to resolve conflicts without litigation.
13. Conduct thorough case analysis to determine the best course of action.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate for the Permanent Attorney position should possess the following qualifications:

1. A Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school.
2. Admitted to the state bar and in good standing or otherwise authorized to practice law.
3. A minimum of 5 years of experience in divorce law, child custody, child support, spousal support, property division, domestic violence, guardianship, and alternative dispute resolution.
4. Proven background in legal writing, litigation, negotiation, mediation, and court appearances.
5. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to maintain a professional demeanor and handle sensitive issues with tact and discretion.
6. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and make sound decisions.
7. Exceptional organizational skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and meet strict deadlines.
8. Proficiency in using legal research software and other law-related technologies.
9. Demonstrated commitment to ethical standards and high level of integrity.
10. Ability to travel as needed for court appearances.
