We are seeking a dynamic, self-motivated, and experienced Attorney to join our team. Responsibilities:
As Attorney, you will be responsible for:
1. Representing clients in court or before government agencies.
2. Presenting evidence to defend clients or prosecute defendants in litigation.
3. Interpreting laws, rulings, and regulations for individuals and businesses.
4. Preparing and drafting legal documents, such as wills, deeds, patent applications, mortgages, leases, and contracts.
5. Negotiating settlements of civil disputes.
6. Conducting legal research and gathering evidence.
7. Ensuring the legality of commercial transactions.
8. Preparing and filing legal documents, such as lawsuits, appeals, wills, contracts, and deeds.
9. Handling discovery, motions, trial preparation, and trial execution.
10. Managing construction defect and personal injury cases.
Qualifications:
1. Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school.
2. Must be licensed to practice law in the state and be in good standing with the state Bar.
3. A minimum of 5+ years of experience in insurance defense.
4. Proven experience with trial preparations, motions, discovery, and litigation.
5. Knowledge of construction defect cases is a plus.
6. Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to resolve complex disputes.
7. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
8. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
9. Ability to handle a large caseload and juggle multiple priorities and deadlines.
10. High degree of professional ethics and integrity.
11. Proficient in legal research software and Microsoft Office Suite.
