Key Responsibilities
Qualifications
- Handle all aspects of personal injury cases, including case assessment, discovery, negotiation, settlement, and trial preparation.
- Represent clients in court proceedings, mediations, and depositions.
- Draft pleadings, motions, discovery responses, and other legal documents.
- Communicate regularly with clients to provide updates and guidance throughout their cases.
- Collaborate with paralegals, case managers, and litigation support staff to ensure thorough case development.
- Participate in firm-wide strategy sessions for mass tort and product liability cases when needed.
Qualifications
- J.D. from an accredited law school and active license to practice law in North Carolina.
- 2+ years of experience in personal injury, premises liability, workers’ compensation, or related litigation.
- Strong courtroom and negotiation skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Ability to manage a caseload independently while working in a team-oriented environment.
- Compassionate and client-centered approach to legal representation.
