Responsibilities:
Qualifications:
- Manage and oversee audit engagements for a diverse portfolio of clients, ensuring quality and compliance with professional standards and regulatory requirements.
- Lead and mentor audit teams, providing guidance and support to staff members throughout the engagement process.
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships, serving as a trusted advisor and delivering value-added services.
- Review financial statements, audit workpapers, and reports to ensure accuracy, completeness, and adherence to company policies and procedures.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, accounting principles, and regulatory changes, and apply this knowledge to client engagements.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiencies within the audit department, contributing to the firm's growth and success.
- Assist in business development activities, including proposal preparation, client presentations, and networking events.
- Collaborate with other departments and professionals within the firm to deliver integrated solutions and exceed client expectations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field; CPA certification preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in public accounting, with a focus on audit services.
- Strong technical knowledge of auditing standards, financial reporting requirements, and GAAP/GAAS.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with clients and team members at all levels.
- Proven track record of managing multiple engagements simultaneously and delivering high-quality results on time and within budget.
- Ability to think strategically, solve complex problems, and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in audit software and Microsoft Office suite (e.g., Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
