Job Details

Responsibilities:

As a Permanent Audit Manager, your primary responsibilities will include:

1. Leading and managing audits for a diverse portfolio of clients, including: Construction, Real Estate, Manufacturing & Distribution, Private Equity, Non-Profit Organizations and more.
2. Build and maintain strong client relationships; act as the primary point of contact for key engagements
3. Lead engagement teams, including planning, budgeting, risk assessment, and reporting
3. Provide guidance, training, and performance evaluations for audit staff and seniors
4. Mentoring and guiding junior staff, fostering a supportive and collaborative working environment.
5. Ensuring all financial statements are accurate and comply with regulations and accounting principles.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate for the Audit Manager position will have the following qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field; Master’s degree or additional coursework preferred
2. CPA license
3. Five or more years of recent public accounting experience, with a focus on audit engagements
4. Experience managing multiple complex engagements and leading audit teams
5. Proficiency with audit software (e.g., CCH ProSystem fx, CaseWare, or similar)
6. Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
