We are seeking a highly motivated and dynamic Permanent Audit Senior to join our Assurance & Advisory team in the Accounting + Finance industry. This is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced professional to contribute their expertise to a thriving team and play a pivotal role in the company's financial operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), and tax review processes. This role requires a minimum of 2+ years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities:

1. Lead and execute audit engagements from planning to completion, ensuring they are conducted in accordance with GAAP and other applicable regulatory requirements.
2. Supervise and mentor junior audit staff, providing guidance and feedback to enhance their professional development.
3. Collaborate with the audit team to identify and understand client needs and provide tailored advisory services.
4. Develop and maintain client relationships, participating actively in business development initiatives to expand the firm's client base.
5. Conduct complex tax reviews, ensuring accuracy and compliance with federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations.
6. Prepare and present detailed audit reports to management, highlighting any issues and providing recommendations for improvement.
7. Stay abreast of industry trends and changes in accounting and tax laws to ensure the company's practices remain compliant and efficient.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A Master's degree or higher is preferred.
2. Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification is preferred, or working to obtain their license.
3. A minimum of 2 years of experience in public accounting auditing, with a strong understanding of GAAP.
4. Proven ability to mentor and develop junior staff.
5. In-depth knowledge of tax review processes and compliance with federal, state, and local tax laws.
6. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
7. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and team members.
8. Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
