Job Details

Responsibilities:
  • Lead planning sessions, set timelines, assign tasks, and manage engagements
  • Guide and mentor junior staff throughout the audit process
  • Review and prepare clear, well-documented work papers
  • Monitor project status, suggest process improvements, and leverage technology
  • Handle all phases of audits, including drafting reports
  • Engage in client networking and support business development efforts

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics.
  • 3+ years of progressive public accounting experience with a focus on small & local government clients (examples include cities, municipalities, counties, etc.).
  • CPA license preferred, but not required.
