Responsibilities:
Qualifications:
- Lead and manage the audit process, including planning, execution, and reporting
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and other regulatory requirements
- Provide assurance to stakeholders on the accuracy and completeness of financial statements
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders
- Identify and communicate audit findings and recommendations to clients and management
- Manage and mentor audit staff, providing guidance and support as needed
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices, and apply them to improve audit processes and procedures
Qualifications:
- Bachelors in Accounting or a related field (Masters preferred)
- CPA certification
- 8+ years of experience in audit, assurance, or related field
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, GASB and other regulatory requirements
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lead and manage a team
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Detail-oriented and able to work under tight deadlines
- Experience with audit software and tools
