We are seeking a dynamic, detail-oriented, and experienced Audit Senior Manager/Director to join our Accounting + Finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing our auditing operations, ensuring they align with our business strategy and objectives. This role will require an individual with a strong background in real estate, private equity, and experience with publicly traded companies or REITs. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of GAAS and GAAP. This is an exciting opportunity to bring your expertise to a company that values hard work, innovation, and dedication.

Responsibilities:

1. Lead and manage audit engagements to ensure they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the satisfaction of our clients.
2. Develop and implement audit plans, including risk assessment, audit scope, and audit procedures.
3. Review and approve audit work papers and reports, ensuring they comply with GAAS and GAAP standards.
4. Provide guidance and supervision to audit staff, fostering an environment of continuous learning and development.
5. Maintain and build strong relationships with clients, understanding their business needs and providing tailored solutions.
6. Collaborate with other departments to improve internal controls, risk management, and operational efficiency.
7. Stay current on industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in auditing and accounting.
8. Participate in business development activities, such as client proposals and presentations.
9. Oversee the preparation of financial statements and reports for publicly traded companies or REITs.
10. Manage private equity funds, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. A Master's degree or CPA certification is preferred.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in auditing, with a focus on real estate, private equity, and publicly traded companies or REITs.
3. In-depth knowledge of GAAS and GAAP.
4. Proven experience in managing audit engagements, from planning to reporting.
5. Strong leadership skills, with the ability to mentor and develop staff.
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and team members.
7. High level of analytical and problem-solving skills.
8. Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, prioritize workload effectively, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
9. Proficient in audit software and Microsoft Office Suite.
10. Commitment to upholding the highest standards of ethics and professionalism.
