As a Permanent Audit Senior in the Real Estate sector of our Accounting and Finance department, you will be an integral part of our team, contributing to the successful operation of our company. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with a diverse portfolio of clients in the real estate industry. The role requires a highly motivated, detail-oriented professional with a strong work ethic and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading audits, reviewing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations. Responsibilities:

1. Oversee and execute audit engagements from planning to completion for real estate clients, ensuring they are conducted in accordance with generally accepted auditing standards.
2. Review financial statements, reports, and records for accuracy, consistency, and compliance with industry standards and regulations.
3. Evaluate internal controls and processes, identify weaknesses, and provide recommendations for improvement.
4. Lead and manage audit teams, providing guidance, training, and feedback to junior staff.
5. Communicate audit findings and recommendations to management and clients, ensuring they understand the implications and necessary actions.
6. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, developments, and changes in regulations.
7. Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing exceptional service and ensuring their needs are met.
8. Collaborate with other departments and teams to ensure a comprehensive and coordinated approach to audits.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field from an accredited institution.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in auditing, with a focus on real estate.
3. Comprehensive knowledge of generally accepted auditing standards and real estate industry regulations.
4. Experience with appraisals and valuation of real estate properties.
5. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively present complex information to a variety of audiences.
7. Proven leadership skills, with experience managing and developing teams.
8. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
9. Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) designation is preferred.
10. Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, meet deadlines, and work in a fast-paced environment.
11. High level of integrity and professionalism, with a commitment to ethical standards.
