Responsibilities

As a Permanent Audit Senior, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

1. Leading and managing audit engagements to deliver high-quality services to our clients.
2. Assisting in the planning and execution of complex audit projects in the real estate, REITS, and private equity sectors.
3. Reviewing audit work papers and financial statements for compliance with professional and firm standards.
4. Supervising and mentoring junior audit staff, fostering a positive and inclusive work environment.
5. Developing strong client relationships and providing exceptional customer service.
6. Identifying and communicating accounting and auditing matters to senior management.
7. Keeping abreast of current developments in the real estate and private equity industries to maintain industry proficiency.
8. Contributing to the firm's growth by identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate for the Permanent Audit Senior position will possess the following qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
2. A minimum of 2 years of experience in auditing, with a strong focus on real estate, REITS, and private equity.
3. Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation or equivalent.
4. Demonstrated knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and auditing standards.
5. Proven leadership and team management skills.
6. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
7. Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members.
8. Proficiency in audit software and Microsoft Office Suite.
9. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
10. Willingness to travel as needed for client engagements.
